The cover song “Iiyudana” (lyrics by Rokusuke Ei, music by Taku Izumi), which will be aired in the commercial for Hoshino Resort’s nationwide hot spring hotel brand “Kai” from winter 2023, will be released digitally from October 23 under the name “STUTS & Taeko Onuki”.

This long-time favorite song by The Drifters was first arranged as a jazz-based instrumental by WONK keyboardist Ayatake Ezaki under the overall production direction of STUTS, “Iiyudana – Ayatake Ezaki”.

STUTS sampled and reconstructed the track. Taeko Onuki added her vocals on top of it in a challenging and innovative process, “Iiyudana – STUTS & Taeko Onuki”

These two versions will be released simultaneously.
