Taeko Onuki & Ryuichi Sakamoto’s song “Flower” from their album “UTAU” has been chosen as the theme song for the movie “Hino-Hana” which will be released on December 20, 2024 (Friday) at Theatre Shinjuku, Eurospace and other theaters nationwide.

Based on the “Self-Defense Forces Daily Report Issue” that was actually reported in 2016, the movie “Hino-Hana” is a completely original story that clearly depicts the fierce experience and subsequent fate of a former Self-Defense Forces officer. The film questions the nature of conflict, peace, and human nature, while looking at the seriousness of PTSD, which has almost never been dealt with in Japanese films.
